Aerides lawranceae

This plant was bought from Mr. Lim Song of Penang about one and a half years ago.  It is the second time this year that the plant is flowering.

I have never been fond of Vandaceous orchids because they take up too much space and i am not really a fan of big flowers.  However, i think Aerides is a good exception.
