This plant has not flowered for a very long time. In fact it almost died, partly due to orchid weevils and partly due to neglect.
Now its showing strong signs of a comeback.
Growing Paphiopedilums or Paphs is my main hobby. I also grow many other orchids such as phalaenopsis, dendrobium, coelogyne etc.

2 Yellow orchids are in bloom. The first one is Vanda denisoniana yellow.
This orchid is a close relative of P. cornu-cervi and P. lamelligera. While many other plants of P. pantherina has a more slender shape with denser patches of color, this particular plant's shape and color is very close to one of my P. lamelligera. However the flower of this pantherina is more than twice the size of the lamelligera. This one is slightly more than 2 inches from top to bottom.
This is a very interesting paph. Flowering for the very first time with a dark brown flower stalk carrying 3 strikingly colored flowers.
Two different plants of Phal. lamelligera are flowering recently. Very slide difference in the patterns because they originally came from the same plant which I bought many years ago from Mr. Lim Song in Penang.
This plant of Coelogyne paltastes is flowering now with its beautiful green flowers. This orchid can be found in Sabah as well as Sarawak.
