Unknown species

This is the orchid that i mentioned in an earlier post. This specimen was growing among the Bulb. vaginatum that i collected from a felled tree along upper bukit timah road. This looks like a bulbophylum without pseudobulb. Still waiting for it to flower so i can identify it.

Dendrobiums

The flower bud of Den. leonis.
Two angles of the same flower of Den. leonis (close-up).

Above - Plant of a Den. capra hybrid. This is a medium sized dendrobium.
Left - Close-up of flower. Looks a bit like capra in the beginning but soon the antelope ears will develop.

Phalaenopsis violacea, used to be called Malayan form

Two pictures of the same flower. This used to be called Phal. violacea Malayan form. Now, it is the true Phal. violacea.

Paph. praestans

Paph. praestans flowered again. I have 2 plants, both are in flower. This paph flowers very easily in our climate and should be a top choice for any beginners.
