Growing Paphiopedilums in Singapore

Growing Paphs in Singapore is not difficult. You just need to select the right types for the climate.

The flower on the left is Paph. Shireen, one of many paphs that are easily grown here. This plant was a gift from Mr. Raymond Hsu, one of my best friends. It flowers all year round.

This is Paph. exul which also flowers easily. Since it is a species, it tends to have a more distinct flowering season around april (here). This plant came from a canadian collector friend of mine. The plant itself is very vigorous.
