Phalaenopsis bellina

A nice round Phal. bellina from MH nursery. I believe this plant can produce bigger flowers if it is grown to bigger size.

Dendrobium farmeri

This Dendrobium farmeri formed a flower spike and flowered recently. The flowering of this orchid is always looked forward to because the flowers are so beautiful with contrasting orange-yellow on white.

bulbophyllum lasiochilum

This is a very fragrant miniature Bulbophyllum from Thailand. The fragrance is very similar to that of Dendrobium anosmum. This orchid is very easy to grow and flowers well in Singapore.

Coelogyne pandurata

The beautiful green flowers of Coelogyne pandurata.

I bought this coelogyne from Mr. Lim Song in Penang more than ten years ago. According to Mr. Lim this plant was collected from the wild in Malaysia. It is a warm loving plant and flowers frequently. Very similar in appearance to Coelogyne mayeriana but there are also obvious differnces between them.

Coelogyne lawrenceana

This plant was labelled as Coelogyne merrillii when i bought it. Not sure about the name but the flower is defnitely very beautiful.

I think it should be Coelogyne lawrenceana.

Thanks to comment from Natalja, and after checking the pic on IOSPE i think this is more likely Coelogyne eberhardtii. Please correct me again if you think this beautiful flower should be something else.

New Coelogyne

These Coelogynes can be found in the northern parts of Thailand, Myanmar and Vietnam. The flower on top is Coelogyne lentiginosa. The next flower is Coelogyne flacida.

Paphiopedilum Shireen

The main pot of Paph. Shireen flowered again recently and produced two flower stalks. The flowers on the other stalk (off-focused) can be seen in the background. The other pot of Shireen is also in flower now.

Phalaenopsis violacea var. sumatra

This is the same Phal. violacea var. sumatra from Song Orchids which i posted on 27/11/2009. There seems to be an improvement in the color intensity as well as color distribution. Very interesting. Flower opened fully this morning.
