Phalaenopsis lamelligera

 

Two different plants of Phal. lamelligera are flowering recently.  Very slide difference in the patterns because they originally came from the same plant which I bought many years ago from Mr. Lim Song in Penang.

Coelogyne paltastes

 

This plant of Coelogyne paltastes is flowering now with its beautiful green flowers. This orchid can be found in Sabah as well as Sarawak.

Phalaenopsis violacea

 

An intense version of P. violacea bought many years ago from Joseph Wu. This one is doing better than another one which is recovering from some fungal infection. 

Dendrobium anosmum

Fruit flies are attracted to the intense scent of the flowers.  The recent rainy spell might have triggered the flowering. 

Paphiopedilum concolor

This concolor flowered a couple of days ago. It's one of those with a line down the middle of the petals.  I believe this variety is called concolor var. straiatum.

Dwarf dracaena species

 This is an unknown species of dwarf dracaena from Thailand.  It will produce a flower stalk from the top when conditions are right.

Impatiens phengklaii

 This is a plant from Thailand. The famous plant with a bird-shaped flower when viewed from the side. But I prefer the front view.
