Growing Paphiopedilums or Paphs is my main hobby. I also grow many other orchids such as phalaenopsis, dendrobium, coelogyne etc.

New Additions
New additions. I am running out of space so i decided to plant them together. To the left is Paph. charlesworthii. The bigger plant is Paph. javanicum. Both from my friend Gordon who is now based near Larkin in Johore.
What happened was i received a call from Gordon which came as a total surprise because i haven't heard from him since i shifted to my new place. He asked me if i could still remember the Dendrobium anosmums that i gave him many years back. He is having problems pollinating them so he reckon he has a better chance using pollen from another cane.
I happen to have a few plants in flower and in fact both normal and alba forms are in flower so we met in Ang Mo Kio S11 foodcourt. He also told me he just got a few Paph.javanicums and charlesworthii so i decided to buy some from him.
I bought a few Paph. charlesworthii from CTC market last year. They are big plants now but not flowering yet so what the heck, a few more won't hurt.
So my good angmoh friend Gordon came down from Larkin in Johore and we exchanged the goods over some Iced Tea and Iced Coffee. He also brought me a gift ; its a Dendrobium. A few days after i hung it up, i spotted a flower bud, then 2 more, then it flowered, which got me searching for its name; finally found it: Dendrobium cretaceum.
