This is a nice bellatulum, full of dark distinct spots although the flower size is not very big. This is the second time it is blooming in response to some recent weather factor. Bellatulums and the other Paphs in the Brachy section can be flowered easily in Singapore.
Growing Paphiopedilums or Paphs is my main hobby. I also grow many other orchids such as phalaenopsis, dendrobium, coelogyne etc.

Paph. dianthum
I bought this dianthum from my favourite market about a year ago. It was in a carton box together with lots of bulbophyllums and dendrobiums. I managed to pull 2 paphs out from this box. This dianthum was one of them and the other should be an exul. This dianthum was a 2- growth plant and although it was huge (leaves 2.5 inch wide and 1.25 ft long), it had no roots. It was a real gamble back then but now it is all worth it. I had to really stabilise it cos it had no roots and also try not to "look" at it too much cos sometimes the more you leave them alone the better.
This was a picture taken on 12-04-2009. The 2 flower buds were quite well developed then. The leaves in the background are those of my cymbidiums. This flower spike is very long so cannot see the huge leaves in this pic.
This was a close-up of the bigger bud.
The flower fully opened on 26-04-2009.

Second Phal.cornu-cervi 'Red' bloomed
This was the first plant that i bought from MH nursery and it bloomed again recently. Not only is the colour a good solid red, the shape is nice too. I hope the young plants i bought earlier will bloom soon.
The colour of the bud is very intense and showed no irregularities in colour.

Phalaenopsis cornu-cervi 'Red'
This is the second red that i purchased recently after being hit by the 'Red' fever. I got some young plants from thailand, the 'Damrong' variety but they are still not flowering yet. This batch from MH nursery is showing signs of easy flowering in our weather so could not resist. This is still an expensive Phal due to its rarity in collections. Prices may fall by end of this year or next year when the flasks bought by the nurseries last year begin to flower. Mature plants with intense red flowers and good form are currently priced above the $1000 mark.
