This is the second red that i purchased recently after being hit by the 'Red' fever. I got some young plants from thailand, the 'Damrong' variety but they are still not flowering yet. This batch from MH nursery is showing signs of easy flowering in our weather so could not resist. This is still an expensive Phal due to its rarity in collections. Prices may fall by end of this year or next year when the flasks bought by the nurseries last year begin to flower. Mature plants with intense red flowers and good form are currently priced above the $1000 mark.
