Growing Paphiopedilums or Paphs is my main hobby. I also grow many other orchids such as phalaenopsis, dendrobium, coelogyne etc.

Video Clip of Bulbophyllum vaginatum on CocoFibre Pole.
Recent cool weather triggered flowering in Bulbophyllum vaginatum (collected from Upper Bukit Timah). In the video below, you will hear lots of birds in the background and even the resident roosters.
Thanks swamprad, i live near to the nature reserve so there are lots of birds around. There's nothing more comforting than the roosters crow in the morning to start the day.
I like Bulbophyllum vaginatum because it is a native species of Singapore. It is one of the very few species of orchids that are still found on our trees. Vaginatums are getting rarer now due to many old trees being cut down to make way for development. These plants were removed from a felled tree to make way for an overhead bridge.
I loved the video clip. What interesting and exotic sounds in the background! And what a fantastic specimen of vaginatum, well grown indeed!
