Phalaenopsis violacea var.sumatra

This is a nice violacea var. sumatra from Song Orchids. The color is deep but too bad it is not evenly distributed.

  1. Hi Joe, hope you are completely well by now.

I love this colour of violacea and am currently looking for something very similar to yours. I don't have much experience in phals but I managed to flower amabilis and equestris. Just last month I got a violacea coerulea from song and I'm thinking of getting a violacea sumatra that has a lovely pink similar to yours. Anyway, I'm trying to learn how to appreciate phals so hopefully you can share a tip or two in it's cultivation. By the way, can you kindly explain in what way that the colour of this flower is not evenly distributed? How do you identify the colour distribution?
