A week ago, my Dendrobium farmeri decided to throw out a flower spike from an old cane. This was quite a surprise because the plant just flowered a couple of months back. This dendrobium is suppose to be very seasonal.

Another very seasonal orchid is the Dendrobium aggragatum. Could hardly believe my eyes when i see the flower buds. When i bought this plant last year, i thought it would be the last time i see the flowers because this plant is well known to stay dormant in our singaporean climate. Somehow the weather here just isn't right.
